Nevada County COVID-19 cases rise to 476
UPDATE on Sept. 9, 2020 The total number of COVID-19 cases in Nevada County hit 476 on Wednesday, an increase of 13 from the day before. Western county had 286 cases, and eastern county had 190. There were 74 active cases on Wednesday, a rise of eight from the prior day. There have been 397 recoveries, and five deaths. Cases have continued to climb in the county. There were 357 on Aug. 11. Jones Fire now 100% contained
Despite the Jones Fire reaching 100% containment, at least two engines will be on site for the next couple of weeks.
